Bring the Helikon Method to your team. Leave with a running start.

A Helikon Labs workshop is a half-day or full-day working session built around the Helikon Method, run on your actual projects and partnerships, with the relevant paid tools included. One price, any organization.

A workshop is a working session, not a lecture. Your team brings its real projects and partnerships, we bring the instruments we use in consulting engagements and the structure to apply them in the room. Every workshop includes the relevant paid assessment and tools, completed before the session, so the day starts from your real scores instead of hypotheticals.

Workshops sit deliberately between the self-serve tools and a consulting engagement. If a bundle covers your problem, we will say so. If the problem is shared understanding across a team rather than any one person’s knowledge, a workshop is the right layer: faster than a sprint, cheaper than an engagement, and your team keeps the method.

When a workshop fits

  • A team that needs a common operating picture before committing to bigger work.
  • A research office or R&D group with one phase of the lifecycle visibly underperforming.
  • A leadership group that wants the assessment debrief done together, with decisions made in the room.
  • A new partnership program that wants to start with the method instead of retrofitting it.

When it does not

If the work is already scoped and bounded, a Pre-Scoped Sprint delivers more for the dollar. If one person just needs answers, Office Hours is cheaper and faster. Our scoping call will tell you which, and “buy the DIY bundle instead” is an answer we give when it’s true.

Every Helikon Method workshop is capped at 12 participants. Decades of team-effectiveness research, including J. Richard Hackman’s finding that a working group’s coordination and candor erode once it climbs into the double digits, show that smaller rooms keep everyone actively contributing rather than spectating. For teams of 6-12 we keep up the energy with breakout groups; for 12+ we require additional sessions.

Who runs it

Andrew Flowers, Founder and CEO of Helikon Labs. Over 18 years, he has worked more roles across the R&D-to-commercialization lifecycle than most: chemical engineer, principal investigator, business developer, contract negotiator, and portfolio manager for tens of millions of dollars in R&D investment bridging universities, corporations and startups, national labs, and government partners. He pairs that operating record with an Executive MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and peer-reviewed primary research on university-industry collaboration.
