Methodology
The Collaboration Readiness Assessment evaluates six dimensions that the empirical and practitioner literature on university-industry partnerships consistently identifies as preconditions for partnership success: governance, culture, processes, resources, track record, and network. Each dimension is operationalized as five statements scored on a 1 to 5 Likert scale (Strongly Disagree to Strongly Agree). The dimension score is the simple mean of the five statement ratings; the overall readiness score is the simple mean of the six dimension scores.
